How this works
Cars missed = cars an hour × hours down. Sales lost = the cars that would have paid at the counter × your average sale: members are left out because they pay monthly, and drivers who come back later are taken off.
Wages paid while down = crew on the clock × their hourly wage × hours down. Each extra hour = (sales lost + wages) ÷ hours down.
The total adds sales lost, idle wages and repairs. It is not lost profit, and it does not price members who missed a wash: what that costs in cancellations cannot be worked out from these numbers.
