Zones: Organizing Your Car Wash
Create zones like 'Self-Serve Bays' or 'Equipment Room' to organize equipment and chemicals by physical area.
What Are Zones?
Zones are physical areas within your car wash site. Instead of listing equipment and chemicals in one long list, you organize them by where they are.
Examples of Zones
Common zones at a car wash:
- Self-Serve Bays — Bay 1, Bay 2, Bay 3...
- Express Tunnel — Entrance, Tunnel, Exit
- Equipment Room — Pumps, water systems
- Vacuum Lot — Vacuum stations
- Detail Area — Detailing bays
Creating a Zone
When you add equipment or chemicals, you'll see a Zone dropdown:
- Click the Zone dropdown
- Select an existing zone, OR
- Click "+ Add new zone" to create one
- Give it a name (e.g., "Self-Serve Bays")
Adding Locations Within a Zone
Each zone can have specific locations (spots):
Zone: Self-Serve Bays ├── Bay 1 ├── Bay 2 ├── Bay 3 └── Bay 4
When adding equipment, after selecting a zone, you can:
- Pick an existing location from the dropdown
- Click "+ Add new location" to create one

Create zones that match how you physically walk through your car wash. This makes daily checks more intuitive.
