Assigning Courses & Tracking Completion
Assign by role, person, or segment, set due dates, and track who's done.
Assigning Courses
Managers assign courses from Learn. A course must be published before you can assign it. You can target learners several ways:
- By role — everyone with a given role
- By location — everyone at a site
- To a person — a specific learner
- By Segment — a reusable, saved group of people
- Via an Onboarding Path — a set of courses auto-assigned to new hires
Set a due date when you assign, so learners see the deadline in My Training.
Tracking Completion
The compliance dashboard shows how training is going across your operation:
- Completion % broken down by course, role, and location
- Overdue items flagged so you can see who's behind
- Bulk remind to nudge everyone who's late in one action
- A per-person drilldown to see exactly where an individual stands
- Reset attempts for a learner who needs another try at a quiz
- CSV export of completion data (on web)
Web vs. iOS
Managers can assign and track on both web and iOS. The CSV export is a web action. Remember that course authoring (building the lessons and quiz) is web-only, but assigning and tracking work on both platforms.
How It Connects
Publish a course -> Assign by role / location / person / segment -> Learners see it in My Training with a due date -> Compliance dashboard tracks completion % -> Bulk remind anyone overdue
Tip
Assign by role rather than picking people one by one — new hires in that role get the course automatically, and you don't have to remember to add them.
