HR Superpowers: let a manager fix managers' hours

What They Allow

By default a manager fixes hours only for Site Leads, Technicians, Employees and Associates, and never their own. Another manager's hours, and their own, need an owner.

A manager with HR Superpowers can also, at the sites they work at:

• Fix other managers' hours: add a missed clock-in or clock-out, edit or delete a punch, end a break, restore a deleted punch
• Fix their own hours the same way
• Decide other managers' time correction requests
• See and clear other managers' time clock flags on Needs Review
• See other managers, and themselves, in Patterns

What They Never Allow

• An owner's hours stay owner-only.
• Nobody decides their own correction request, owners included. A request a manager filed for themselves waits for an owner, or for another manager with HR Superpowers at that site.
• Other sites. It covers only the sites the manager works at.

Who Gives Them

Only owners. Any manager can be selected; the name doesn't tie it to an HR job title.

1. Open Settings → Roles & permissions (web, iPhone, iPad or Android)
2. Under Time & payroll, find HR Superpowers and choose Choose
3. Tick the managers, then Done
4. Choose Review & save, check the names it lists, and save

Managers and Site Leads can open the same page and see who has them.

How They End

• A role change. Saving any role but Manager for that person ends them, and the Role field says so before you save. Making them a Manager again doesn't bring them back: an owner selects them again.
• Leaving the team. Removing someone ends them. If they come back, an owner selects them again.

Every fix made with HR Superpowers is saved in the punch's edit history with who made it, like any other edit.
