Assignments (formerly My Console)

What is Assignments?

Assignments is your personal dashboard. It gathers everything that needs YOUR attention into one place, so you don't have to hunt through different screens to work out what to do next.

How to Access It

Click Assignments in the sidebar, or tap the Assignments tab at the bottom of the phone app (it used to be called Today).

What You'll See

Needs you now

At the top: shortcuts to your most overdue or soon-expiring items. Tap one to jump straight to it in its group.

My work

Your own items, in groups: Tasks, Inspections, Work orders, Training (required training, courses and your expiring certifications), My SOPs, Complaints (complaint tasks and complaints), Shift swaps waiting for your answer, and My requests (your time corrections and time off).

Team & approvals (managers and owners)

Approvals, Needs an owner (unassigned work orders and complaints), Team health, Stock & gauges, SOPs and Applications.

Each group shows its first three items; Show more adds ten at a time, and tapping a group's title folds it. Overdue items carry a red stripe, items due today an amber one, later items a grey one. Items waiting on someone else, like a work order waiting on parts or a complaint waiting on the customer, are listed last.

Filters

Tap Overdue or Due today to show only those items, and tap it again to see everything. If you work at more than one site, the site picker shows one site's items, and each site shows how many it has. Search filters every group at once.

How It Connects

Manager assigns work order to you
  ↓
Appears in YOUR Assignments
  ↓
You work on it, update status
  ↓
When complete, submit for approval
  ↓
Disappears from your Assignments
