Daily Tasks (To-Do Lists)

Create task checklists for your team. Organize by shift: opening, midshift, and closing.

What Are Daily Tasks?

They're to-do lists for your team. You create tasks once, and they show up every day (or on a schedule you set).

Creating a Task

  1. Go to To-Do in the sidebar
  2. Click Add Task
  3. Fill in:

- Task name — What needs to be done

- Shift — Opening, During Day, or Closing

- Priority — Low, Medium, or High

- Photo required — Yes or No

- Instructions — Optional details

Shifts Explained

Tasks are grouped by when they should be done:

  • Opening — Before you open to customers
  • During Day — Anytime during operating hours
  • Closing — At end of day before leaving

One-Time Tasks

Need a task done just once? Use the Quick Add button:

  1. Click + Quick Task (or the + icon on mobile)
  2. Enter the task name
  3. Set priority
  4. Submit

One-time tasks appear in a separate section and disappear after completion.

Task Priorities

Tasks are color-coded by urgency (cool to hot):

  • Gray — Low priority (when you have time)
  • Blue — Medium priority (handle today)
  • Red — High priority (do first)

Completing Tasks

Employees see their task list when they log in:

  1. Tap a task
  2. If photo required, take a picture
  3. Tap Mark Complete
  4. Task shows a green checkmark

Task Feedback

Found a problem while doing a task? Report it:

  1. Complete the task
  2. Click the feedback icon (speech bubble)
  3. Describe the issue
  4. A work order is automatically created

This connects daily checks to maintenance tracking.

Viewing Progress

Managers can see:

  • Which tasks are done
  • Which are still pending
  • Who completed each task
  • Completion photos
