Multi-Site Employee Assignments

Assign employees to work at multiple locations. Set their primary site and manage access across your portfolio.

Working at Multiple Sites

If you have multiple car wash locations, employees can be assigned to work at more than one site.

Setting Up Multi-Site Access

  1. Go to Directory > People tab
  2. Click on an employee
  3. Find Site Assignments
  4. Check all sites they should have access to
  5. Select their Primary Site (their main location)
  6. Save

What Multi-Site Access Means

When an employee has access to multiple sites:

FeatureBehavior
Clock InCan clock in at any assigned site
TasksSees tasks for whichever site they're at
EquipmentCan view equipment at any assigned site
ScheduleCan be scheduled at any assigned site

Primary Site

The primary site is:

  • Their default location when they log in
  • Used for reporting purposes
  • Where they're "home based"

Managers Across Sites

Managers with multi-site access can:

  • Switch between sites using the site selector
  • See data from all their assigned sites
  • Manage team members at any assigned site

Removing Site Access

If you remove a site from an employee's assignments:

  • Future scheduled shifts at that site are automatically cancelled
  • They can no longer clock in there
  • Existing time entries are preserved

How It Connects

Employee assigned to: Downtown, Airport, Eastside
  ↓
Primary site: Downtown
  ↓
When they log in → Downtown data shown
  ↓
Manager can schedule them at any of the 3 sites
  ↓
Time clock validates GPS for whichever site they're at

Tip

Only give multi-site access to employees who actually float between locations. Most employees should be assigned to just one site.
