Recurring Task Schedules
Set tasks to repeat daily, weekly, or on specific days. Great for PM checklists and inspections.
What Are Recurring Tasks?
These are tasks that automatically appear on a schedule. Set it once, and it generates tasks forever.
Setting Up a Recurring Task
- Go to To-Do
- Click Add Task
- Fill in the task details
- Under Repeats, choose:
- Daily — Every day
- Weekly — Specific days of the week
- Custom — Every X days
Examples
| Task | Schedule |
|---|---|
| Check vacuum filters | Daily |
| Deep clean bays | Every Monday |
| Inspect fire extinguishers | Every 30 days |
| PM conveyor chain | Every 7 days |
How It Works
When a recurring task is due:
- A new task is created automatically
- It appears in the team's to-do list
- They complete it
- Next occurrence is scheduled
Editing Recurring Tasks
If you edit a recurring task:
- Future occurrences use the new settings
- Already-created tasks are not changed
Deleting Recurring Tasks
Deleting a recurring task:
- Stops future occurrences
- Does NOT delete tasks already created
