Getting Your Reviews Into WashConsole
There are two ways reviews get into WashConsole:
- Import your full history -- Use Google Takeout to download every review ever left on your business and upload the files into WashConsole. This is a one-time setup. See the Importing Your Google Reviews article for step-by-step instructions.
- Auto-sync new reviews -- Connect your Google Business listing so new reviews appear automatically at the frequency you choose (hourly, every 3 hours, etc.).
Connecting Your Business
- Go to Reviews in the sidebar
- Click Connect Google Place
- Search for your business name
- Select the correct listing
- Configure your sync frequency and click Save
What You'll See
Rating Summary
- Current star rating
- Total review count
- Change from last week
Recent Reviews
- Reviewer name and star rating
- Review text and date posted
- Source badge: Uploaded (from Takeout/CSV import) or Google (auto-synced)
- Owner replies (if imported from Takeout)
Review Trend
- Review volume over time shown as a bar chart
- Automatically switches between weekly and monthly view depending on the time range you select
- Trend indicator -- shows direction and percentage change:
- Green arrow: review volume up (>5% increase vs. prior period)
- Red arrow: review volume down (>5% decrease)
- Gray arrow: flat (within 5%)
- Helps you see if marketing or operational changes are impacting customer feedback
Responding to Reviews
Click on a review to open Google Maps where you can respond.
Tip: Respond to ALL reviews, positive and negative. It shows you care.
